Launch of the GDT « Formes du Numérique »

On April 15, 2026, the new working group of the Internet and Society Centre (CNRS) dedicated to the forms of digital technology will be launched, focusing on the aesthetic, political and social dimensions of digital design.

Overwiew

This inaugural half-day event will provide an overview of current research on digital forms, highlighting the diversity of critical approaches beyond research solely on human-computer interfaces.

Through a conference and a roundtable discussion bringing together researchers from various disciplines and artistic practices, we invite you to explore digital forms at multiple scales: from signs to infrastructures, including interactions and social upheavals. We will also situate this working group within the CIS ecosystem, highlighting its complementary role with other existing research groups.
