Abstract

ChatGPT, Perceptron, Claude, ELIZA, Midjourney... The list of entities related to artificial intelligence interwoven into our daily lives is growing ever longer. Neither human nor simple software tools, these have become complex, sometimes disturbing creatures, which modify our practices and our perceptions of the world. What if we had to make a bestiary of them? Looking at the diversity of their behaviors like ethologists look at animals? Based on empirical studies and artistic contributions, this issue sheds light on the material, conceptual, and imaginary dimensions of these AIs, while questioning the limits and paradoxes of our recent coexistence with them.
