Design, narration(s) et théorie(s) littéraire(s). Au prisme de l’œuvre de Pierre Bayard

The CRD is organizing an international symposium on December 3, 4, and 5, 2025, on the theme "Design, Narration(s), and Literary Theory(ies)."

Design, Narrative(s), and Literary Theory(ies).
Through the lens of Pierre Bayard's work.
International Conference, December 3-5, 2025

Following the symposium held in Chicago in 2024 on the work of Pierre Bayard, we propose to continue our discussions and reflections on the shared challenges of speculative/critical design, narrative practices (literature, film, art, video games, etc.), and literary theories by organizing an international symposium to be held at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) in Paris, from December 3 to 5, 2025. This event brings together ENSCI Les Ateliers, ENS Paris-Saclay (Design Research Center), Paris Nanterre University (HAR), Sorbonne Nouvelle (CERAM), the University of Pau and the Adour Region (IKER-UMR 547 laboratory), and Paris 8 University.
